training rats to play doom in VR, trash houses, and why AR will dominate

January 11, 2022

I don't know about you, but I've got a good feeling about this year.

1 life update ☝

I joined a gym by my house. First time back in the gym in years. This one has an outside section and I live in San Diego, so it's pretty nice doing squats to the sunset at 5:30 pm in 70 degree weather. 10/10 would recommend.

2 crazy things ✌

Optimism is a strategy for making a better future. Because unless you believe that the future can be better, you are unlikely to step up and take responsibility for making it so.
